Approaching God One Thought At A Time

There will be over 3,500 killed in the USA today from abortion. No flags lowered, no presidents crying. No media hyperventilating. Normal day.

Pro-Life Anti-Judgment

In a single generation the ethics and morals guiding civilization for millennia have been undermined and overthrown. Yet in First World Nations during the same period we've enjoyed unprecedented blessings. This disconnect has encouraged a reconstruction of Christian doctrine and practice.

Teachings on
salvation and eternal security have been reworked and topics such as Earthly judgment and everlasting punishment all but eliminated. In its retooling, Churchianity has fallen from grace. More disturbing, the very same generation covered in the innocent blood of over a billion of Christ's aborted "least brothers" remain willfully spiritual oblivious to any peril of justice and judgment." Either in this life or the next.

Don’t let anyone trick you with foolish talk. God punishes everyone who disobeys him and says foolish things.

- Ephesians 5:6 CEV

Our current quandary raises a variety of questions in vital need of answering.  On of the most in need of answering is what kind of modern Christian will Christ accept? The answer, those honestly and diligently studying Scripture to learn and fully do His will.  Given God's frustration with presumption and hypocrisy, Jesus reveals the Father seeks worship from only a select few:

  • “Knowing the correct password—saying ‘Master, Master,’ for instance—isn’t going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience—doing what my Father wills. I can see it now—at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, ‘Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.’ And do you know what I am going to say? ‘You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don’t impress me one bit. You’re out of here.’” Math 7:21-23 MSG

  • A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers. God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).” John 4:23-24 AMP
Scripture explains that Christ came into the world to save sinners.  Christ commissioned, "As the Father sent me so send I you."  The question is who is best prepared to fulfill such a sacred trust?

Such a discussion is made all the more vital by a host of factors including ubiquitous and growing levels of
temptation and deception, worldliness and sin. Both within and without the ranks of modern Christianity. Among evil's growing global pandemic, abortion reins supreme. In a plethora of passages, such as Isaiah 59 passage, Scripture repeatedly warns of the dire consequences of either participation in or apathy towards the shedding of innocent blood. Legalized clinical abortion on demand's approaching the 50 year mark, and the issue of contraceptive abortion a non starter within the Protestant church. This not only reflect mass, if not nearly universal insensitive to the Spirit but a mishandling of Scripture. Both of which a successful POA/J4 style meeting is fully dependent. Prophetic Christians are the kind needed today.  Not the garden variety of evangelical or even charismatic kind, 99.9% of whom remain apathetic to the abortion of over a billion, 5-10 times earth’s population in Christ’s day. Sadly, insensitivity to the Holy Spirit is so entrenched most continue unmoved even when the facts and Scriptures are explicitly explained

Mindful of
prophetic advice, wise Christians must arise who will challenge both the great sins of our time and the doctrinal errors that allow them to germinate and grow. Prophetic Christians are well schooled in the need for unprecedented repentance. They comprehend the critical nature of following Scripture’s perfect formula for being reconciled to God.

Unfortunately, like clueless
Laodicea of old, modern Christianity claiming privileged status considers itself to be “rich and in need of nothing” thus ignoring a generation left half dead and dying.

Concerned Christians
immerse themselves in the Bible and it's history.  Painstakingly they learn to speak the language of the Holy Spirit.  As they study Scripture they allow it to study them.  Using God's word as a trustworthy standard they weight present thoughts and trends.  From such a vantage point not only can current challenges be assessed but by looking ahead potential difficulties can be for seen and planned for accordingly. Such believers develop quantum thinking skills as they endeavor to learn to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.  They believe God said what means and means what He said, even when such powerful themes as His mercy and judgment are not easily synchronized.

Prophetic Christians
realize the crucial role prayer plays in their lives as well as the unfolding drama of human history.  Employing prayers of silence, repentance, contemplation, petition and thanksgiving they daily converse with God, often for hours at a time.  They invest heavily in kneeling humbly before His throne of grace, as through Scripture’s conditions and promises they see, hear, taste, smell and feel the eternal ramifications of our fulfilling or frustrating God's will that, "none should perish and that ALL should come to a knowledge of repentance.”

Kingdom of Priests

Serious Christians
fulfill the role of modern day priests rather than than angry prophets.  Painfully aware of their sins, and those of their generation, their words of conviction come from continuing Christ's ministry of reconciling the Church to God, that Christ's Great Commission might be realized and the world saved.  As the Apostle John says, after loving and washing us from our sins in His own blood, Christ:

  • "has made us a kingdom of priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen." Revelation 1:6
While there are many aspects to such a blessing, certainly a primary one is to sacrificially offer prayers and service to bring the lost to Christ.  Both inside and outside of our churches.  Rather than excuse sin in the Church because of our exalted place in Christ and having been washed in His blood, prophetic Christians use our command to intercede and faith in atonement to fully face the specter of our sins.

Prophetic Christians
, through supplication and acceptable service to Jesus our High Priest spend hours like they were minutes humbling themselves that they mighty draw near to God.  They use everything, from faith to fear, from thankfulness to sorrow, from victory to defeat, as fuel for prayers of intercession and petition.  Prophetic Christians carve a lifestyle of broken hearted repentance, encouraging themselves with many scriptures such as:

  • "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Hebrews 4:15-16

and:

  • "You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:  “ My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.Hebrews 12:4-6

Whole Hearted Disciples

Prophetic Christians
are nothing new, though with 7 billion souls at risk in an ever increasingly sinful world, Christianity has a new found need of them.  In the Book of Acts we are told that on Pentecost, the fervency of such intercessors reached "critical mass" as the Holy Spirit arrived as "ball lightening" with spontaneous Christian combustion setting believer's hair aflame. His coming and outpouring afforded miracles, signs and wonders without which, this portion of scripture would likely have been entitled, the "Book of Words."

It is likely that, in part,
the desperate zeal of the early Church was largely responsible for the initial outpouring of such fire of the Holy Spirit. Another factor may have been the quality of the message being spread by the Apostles and other 1st hand witnesses to the words and works of Jesus.

One of Christianity's founding authoritative figures was the Apostle John.  Along with Paul and Luke,
John's contributions to the New Testament, in words and deeds, were as essential for the Emmerging Church and as they are for ours today.

Outside of perhaps Mary's unique relationship with Jesus,
John, the disciple whom Jesus loved, seems to have best understood the magnitude of Christ's love.  Besides being "John the Beloved" resting on the chest of Jesus, his are the immortal and often quoted words, "For God so loved the world..." Also his are the 3 "love epistles."

Additionally,
it was to John that Jesus gives the sacred trust of the care of his mother Mary while both were present as only a handful of believers at the foot of the cross.

Biblical and traditional evidence strongly suggests John may have had a better understanding of the love of Christ than any other man.
Interestingly it was to this same individual that God gives, what may arguably be, the greatest Revelation of His justice and wrath...

The Apostle John is the perfect example of a Prophetic Christian.  His
quantum training and whole hearted discipleship allows Christ to reveal the panoramic vision of Himself.  Through the safety lenses of the love and mercy of God John glimpses the fierce brilliance of His holiness and wrath and vice versa.  In John we have the missing template for whole hearted discipleship so vital to 21st century Christianity in 1st World Nations.

I
n John's words and example, the virtue of Godly fear becomes the "beginning of wisdom" and is allowed to do it's work until one is "perfected in love." His Book of Revelation, contains much to fear and treasure, including angelic war in Heaven and Earth's greatest tribulation. Some of it's main themes, in the order given by John are:

  • The first glimpse of the risen and gloried Christ.  Notice even "John the beloved" who nestled against the breast of Jesus the "Suffering Servant" now falls as dead at the feet of the Christ the Conquering King!"

  • Jesus' revealing of Himself to the 7 Churches.  Likely actually churches as well as church types and ages.

  • Jesus' final message to the Church.  Contained in His complaints, advice, compliments and rewards given to the seven churches.

  • Jesus' prophetic warnings to prepare for a series of nearly extinction level events that, if literal, will claim well over 1/2 the world's population.  While there are 60 separate events, many of which would kill millions, the 2 alone that have casualty counts would claim 50% of humanity.  Interestingly, should contraceptive abortion prove real, this would be the same percentage of those abortion destroys in the womb.  As New Testament scripture warns, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man (or mankind) sows, that will he (we) reap.  Galatians 6:7

  • Description of a great war in heaven between the Devil and his angels and Michael and his angels.  Satan is furious as he is cast down to Earth.  Heaven rejoices at the expulsion of "the accuser of the brethren who accused them day and night."

  • The coming of the Anti-Christ, False Prophet and Mark of the Beast. Immediately Satan makes war against the Church.  Here we have just one of many scriptures strongly suggesting a Mid to Post Tribulation Church Rapture timeline.

  • The coming of Christ in clouds to harvest the Earth.  " Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped." Rev 14:14-16

  • The outpouring of the God's wrath and final judgments. These events: turns the sea to blood killing all its living creatures, fresh water to blood and light to darkness.

  • The destruction of the Anti-christ and his armies.  By Christ and the armies of heaven.

  • Satan's defeat and imprisonment in the bottomless pit for one thousand years.

  • The millennial reign of Christ.  A thousand years of peace and healing of the nations.

  • Satan's freedom from imprisonment and final doomed assault against God.  Note, as a tremendous warning against the Arch-Deceiver, that after 1,000 years of Christ reign on Earth, with all the blessings and advancements it will afford, within a single verse of being loosed Satan has the nations from the "four corners of the Earth" taking arms against "the saints and the beloved city." Devoured by heavenly fire the devil is thrown into the Lake of Fire where the Anti-christ and False Prophet had been thrown to be tormented day and night forever and ever.

  • The Great White Throne judgment.  Books of Life and mankind's deeds are opened.

  • Hell and death thrown into the Lake of Fire.  It's smoke ascending eternally.

  • New Jerusalem's descending from Heaven.  Large enough to stretch half way across America.  Apparently a cube, equal in height, depth and width.  Twelve stories of transparent gemstones, each over 100 miles high.  So gloriously enormous that, where it here today, some Earth orbiting satellites would crash into the second of it's twelve levels.

  • New Heavens and new Earth.

Remember Peter's fearful warning that "it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?"  This is doubly true given the church has had it within it's power to end abortion in a single day, 365 days a year for nearly four decades by unifying and simply sending 1% of it's members to picnic in front of the entrance of abortion clinics.

UPDATE: Roe vs. Wade Overturned

To the joy of countless millions, on Friday 6/24/22 the landmark decision
Hobbs vs. Jackson by the Supreme Court of the United States overturned Roe vs. Wade. Thus auspiciously ending 50 years of national tyranny against 60 million pre-born.

Or at lease throwing the decision to allow mothers to continue conspiring with physicians to murder the offspring within their wombs back to America's 50 individual states...

Nor does it address the more subtle yet sinful and deadly issue of
contraceptive abortifacients, prevalent throughout society and modern Christianity.

While I now live in North East Texas, years ago I spent nearly 100 Saturdays at Central California clinics warning and imploring up to twenty girls a day to spare their babies. Via public parking constraints, forced to pass near I implored, “If God gives you the gift of a child don’t let anyone harm it” while handing them carefully explicit literature.

Often alone, sometimes there would be nearly a handful of us. On a good day, one or two mothers would listen and change their minds.

On many other occasions none at all.

As in Christ's end time parable of the
Sheep and Goats, there I discovered Jesus in His smallest and most innocent form. Totally dependent for “food” and “drink,” “naked” and “in prison” in the very womb of His mother. There I watched as He was repeatedly carried, “Like a lamb to the slaughter,” into a medical clinic. A most solemn and sorrowful scenario with grave spiritual ramifications.

One repeated in Fresno alone over 50,000 times.

In over two years I don’t recall a single member of the clergy or even lay leader joining us. Though I understand the odds may have somewhat improved through the influence of 40 Days For Life.

Only a fraction of fraction of a percent of ordained ministers have served as a director of a leading pro-life organization. Far less still have had the honor and responsibility to act as a leading liaison to over a thousand churches in state wide pro-life political initiatives.

With well over thirty years in
strategic Christian service, including more than a decade of pastoral ministry and pro-life activism, the author is privileged to belong to a select fraternity. This and other articles and books represent a culmination of this experience. Using such depth perception, this commentary is intended to introduce the true nature of the challenge presented by abortion. Particularly to modern Christianity.

During California’s 2005 Prop. 73 Parent’s Right To Know initiative I produced the pro-life political DVD entitled “Protect Me…Please” to be shown in hundreds, if not thousands of churches, prior to or on election Sunday. Groundbreaking, the 3 minute video featuring post abortive laments of teenage girls, made the front page of both the LA Times and San Francisco Chronicle. Prop. 73 failed by a narrow margin.

During the subsequent Prop. 85 initiative I achieved another milestone. For the first time, four leading Protestant state denominations, the
Southern Baptists, Assemblies of God, Calvary Chapel and Foursquare, officially endorsed a political initiative. Again Parent’s Right to Know (PRK) was defeated.

Our third attempt in 2008 with Prop 4. affectionately dubbed “Sarah’s Law” failed as well. More than
political, my involvement was spiritually motivated. After having spoken to thousands of Christians across denominational lines, it was clear that far less than 1% of either clergy or laity had the vaguest notion of the scale of abortion’s true threat to either the pre-born or the Church.

As a topical Biblical commentary,
Quantum Christianity was designed in recognition of the need to examine and handle truth carefully and honestly. Scriptural and otherwise. The nationalized legalization of clinical abortion, and its apparent overruling, presents a perfect case in point.

A faithful handling of the Old and New Testament requires would be students and adherents to develop
spiritual discernment on a variety of subjects crucial to Biblical Christianity. The lack of which has produced hundreds of differing denominations espousing various Christs and versions of the gospel. Tragically, many of the hopeful insights inherent in Christ's command to "Judge with righteous judgment" continue to go largely unrealized within modern Christianity.

Such is certainly the case when considering the American church's 50 year track record in regards to an appropriate response to abortion. Or more accurately, the lack thereof. Both clinically and
contraceptively.

Bear in mind that church attending Christians could have ended abortion in a single day, 365 days a year, for 50 years, by simply sending 1% of our congregations to have family friendly picnics in front of every abortion
clinic in America. With thousands peacefully blocking entrances, even should there be numerous arrests, the sheer numbers involved would shut down all abortuaries in a single day. With 99% more now authentically pro-life Christians waiting for a chance to join cause.

Yet nothing could be further from the case. Then or now.

Nor have we seriously addressed the widespread use of
abortifacient contraception throughout Christendom. A topic that many, if not most, churches and even pro-life organizations know or speak little about. Most often chemical in nature, early term abortions are a result of various forms of birth control and other devices. Abortions of this kind happen before the mother is aware of her pregnancy. The exact numbers are unknown. Some estimates suggest the daily total of these types of abortions may be surprising large. In the U.S. alone perhaps between 834,000 to over 4,000,000 per year (Dr. Bobmir Kuhar, Infant Homicides Through Contraceptives Pg 27.) Lower estimates range around 100,000 to over 1,500,000 annually (Randy Alcorn: Does the Birth Control Pill Cause Abortions? How Often Does the Pill Cause Abortions?)

Thus the compelling need to rethink Jesus' directive toJudge with righteous judgment should be abundantly evident.

But is it? Throughout the
Hobbs vs. Jackson decision by the Supreme Court celebratory posts and podcasts, sermons and ceremonies, is there any awareness of the reality of the seriousness our situation? Or brokenhearted repentance in light of the depth of our failures?

Are any of today's joyful messages cognizant of the Bible's repeated warning that God is not mocked.

  • Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. Galatians 6:7 AMP

  • For they sow the wind [in evil] And they reap the whirlwind [in disaster]. Hosea 8:7 AMP

Is our revelry tempered with the sobering fact that while abortion is currently the pinnacle sin of mankind, it's only the tip of the iceberg? One floating in a
Water World of immorality unleashed by the continual and increasing tsunami of the 60's sexual revolution redefining and/or eliminating traditional marriage and family.

These devilish sociopolitical engineering undoubtedly ushered in such modern woes as career felon George Floyd's sainthood and efforts to undermine criminal justice. Antifa and BLM riots and violence. CRT and orchestrated racial tensions. C19's plandemic and goal overreach. Medical interference and harmful vaccines. Woke agenda and transgenderism. Biden's malevolent war on Ukraine and America's economy. All part of the Great Reset.

And these are just the highlights. All coordinated and choreographed by the clearly visible and menacing Iron Triangle of liberal global politics, media and corporations.

Yet even now,
modern Christianity, up to and including the vast majority of Prophetic Christians, refuses to discern the clearly repeated handwriting on the wall. And having done so, to enter the crucible of James 4's Prayer of Anguish in hopes of James 5's reconciliation to, and empowerment by, God.

Particularly the Person of the
Holy Spirit, Whom we continue to annoy and grieve, if not profane and blaspheme.

Instead, across America, Laodicea is masquerading as
Philadelphia. Lauding the Supreme Court for Hobbs vs. Jackson while the highest court in the land continues to sidestep or support all the devastating atrocities mentioned above. Many of which modern Christianity has yet to Scripturally repent of, up to and including sins of clinical and/or contraceptive abortion. In regards to commission and/or omission.

Mankind’s
current pinnacle sin of abortion is spiritually quantum in a variety of ways. For example, it’s hardly just like any other sin. Even so, as with any other sin, it does require the event and process of genuine repentance. Like faith itself, honest and heartfelt repentance encompasses our entire mind, heart and will. As required by the previously mentioned passage in 2 Chronicles 7:14’s perfect formula for repentance.
