I think we have deluded ourselves into believing that people don’t know that abortion is killing. So any pretense that abortion is not killing is a signal of our ambivalence, a signal that we cannot say yes, it kills a fetus.

Only a fraction of a percent of ordained ministers have served as a director of a leading pro-life organization. With over thirty years in Christian service, including more than a decade of full time ministry and an additional decade as a pro-life activist, sadly the author belongs to a select fraternity.
This and other books in the Quantum Christianity series represent a unique point of view developed from these two vantage points. Using this depth perception, the purpose of this work is to offer an introduction as to the true nature of the challenge presented by abortion, particularly to the Church in 1st World Nations. The author trusts honest readers will invest the time and the trouble to consider the facts and weigh the Scriptures presented. Both are offered in hope of opening a long overdue dialogue between Christians, the Word of God and His Holy Spirit on what has tragically become the greatest life or death issue in human history.
Abortion And The Church
There is one institution entrusted as the gate keeper of all human society. The Church, ordained by God and acknowledged by man, had stood vigil as guard and conscience of Christian nations for millennia. Our greatest institutions were inspired and guided by the truth given to the Church for the benefit of all humanity. From the 1st century to the first half of the 20th, Christianity in general, and Western Christianity in particular, was the "city on a hill," the "lamp stand" providing light and direction for the whole Earth.
For the last several decades, however, the very Christian nations that once evangelized the world with the Gospel of Christ have become heralds of another message. Rather than Christ's command to love our neighbor through self sacrifice, this new "gospel" promotes love of self through sacrificing our most consummate neighbor, our pre-born.
How did these nations so quickly loose their way? Who would have believed that in little more than a single generation, our generation, the Protectors would become Predators, and that of their own babies and those of others?
Abortion's Greatest Victory
Jesus warned you cannot enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods without first binding the strong man. His primary point was that the power He exercised to cast out demons was from God. He also introduced a principle. Unfortunately for us, it would appear the demonic are good students and took the lesson to heart.
Like Samson, anointed by the Lord a Nazarite from before birth to be a judge and protector of God's people, we too have been beguiled by worldly charms. Even as Delilah, a type of the lusts of the world, bound Samson in pleasure and sin, so too modern Christianity has been artfully seduced. Concession by concession, compromise by compromise, our Nazarite vows have been broken and our "hair has been cut." Like Samson, drunk on our indulgences, we've been bound by strong cords in our sleep. How else could our nation, congregations and families have been so plundered?
Is it possible that like Samson, we who could not be conquered have grieved the Holy Spirit and have lost our strength to stand against our enemies? It's not only possible, it's a Scriptural certainty.
