Approaching God… At the Speed of Thought

Heaven and Hell

While the Bible, particularly the New Testament, is clear on the existence of Heaven and Hell it's treatment of both is somewhat limited. Over the course of human history many have claimed to experience the eternal joys and terrors of these awe-full places.

Decades of studying and being studied by the scriptures can give one "ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church." The following have a ring of truth and are certainly worth careful consideration.

Heavenly Experiences...

As the home of the Omni God and an innumerable company glorious angels and saints, the realities of heaven is no simple study. Eternal and holy in nature, fleeting and fallen men have little chance of comprehending a fraction of a fraction of a fraction... of its power and wonder.

Even so, we must try. Our place in eternity largely depends on our belief system regarding the reality of eternal life, most particularly its everlasting rewards and punishments. So much so that the Apostle Paul confided that all he did was
"to obtain a better resurrection" and that should there be none he and those like him would be "of all men most miserable."

Educated Guesses

Unfortunately, no one knows if those claiming to have had a spiritual experience actually have. People often believe what they want to believe and have been known to lie. Adding to the dilemma is an amazing amount of deception by devils and demons, not to mention our being swept up in a cosmic war raging in Eternity from before time began.

In this section you'll find our educated guesses as to who's story has the ring of truth. May God grant us all enough wisdom on this important matter to make an informed choice as to where we, our families and friends will spend eternity...
